Dominion House enjoyed being the host of three proms this year: Homeschool Prom, Oklahoma Christian Schools Prom, and Guthrie High School Prom! We would like to give a shout out to those schools and we hope your nights were memorable! Here’s a couple of pictures from the events!

Guthrie HS prom had a Masquerade theme for 2012

Homeschool Prom had a Roman theme that included gold and white linens

OCS Prom had a theme of Boots, Bacon and Blueberry muffins.

An Outdoor Wedding

This bride and groom enjoyed beautiful weather for their outdoor wedding ceremony. Their colors were cherry red and black. Their reception was held in the grand ballroom where the guests enjoyed great food. Take a look at some pictures from their wedding day!

This wedding was in April at Dominion House. The bride and groom had their ceremony in the indoor wedding chapel and their reception was held in the grand ballroom. Their ceremony and reception was elegantly decorated with rhinestones and flowers. Enjoy the pictures from their special day!

This beautiful wedding took place at Dominion House in March. The bride and groom enjoyed their ceremony in the indoor wedding chapel and their reception in the Grand Ballroom. Their guests enjoyed a mashed potato martini bar along with other food items. Enjoy!

Orange: For Summer, Spring, and Fall Weddings

Orange is a color that people can use in many different seasons. Orange pumpkins are great for fall weddings, orange flower petals look great in summer, and orange bridesmaid dresses stand out in spring. Orange can be used in a variety of ways for weddings and receptions. Here’s some great things we’ve seen at Dominion House.

Yellow is a color we don’t see very often, but when bride’s decide to use it, they have some very beautiful ideas. Yellow is such a bright color that most people use it during the summer or fall seasons for their weddings. Here’s quite a few different yellow ideas.

A very popular and classic wedding color that we see a lot at Dominion House in Guthrie is silver. This color is great because it goes with practically everything! We’ve seen silver as a main wedding color as well as just a simple accent color! Here are some great ideas we’ve seen so far!

A great new trend is to tie sashes on the ceremony chairs to show reserved seating or to add color to the chapel

Lately, we have been seeing a lot of different purples in wedding receptions. We have seen anywhere from eggplant to a lavender being used in linens, ribbons and wedding favors! We are excited to show these wonderful additions to our blog of color collections!

This was one of our beautiful weddings in February. The bride and groom chose uplighting in the chapel and full length linens for their reception. The couple got married in our indoor wedding chapel and their reception in the Grand Ballroom.

The chapel was decorated with purple flower bouquets and uplighting on all the columns

The couple lit a beautiful unity candle to symbolize their commitment to one another

The bride added to the chapel decor by providing two birdcages filled with flowers

The couple chose ivory full length linens, ivory chair covers and eggplant colored sashes and tablerunners
